#Breaking: Nasser from MAFS is actually Benny Elias with improved skin care routine

Double Bay Today can reveal exclusively that Nasser from Married At First Sight used to be a Rugby League star.

In a one on one interview, he’s declared that he was previously known as Benny Elias, who played for club side Balmain and represented New South Wales on 19 occasions.

"After I finished playing Rugby League I really started looking after my skin," says Nassar A.K.A Benny Elias. "I think my thorough skin care routine and resulting good complexion really helped me get a spot on Married At First Sight."

Since his retirement from football in 1994, Nassar A.K.A Benny Elias has pursued various media and business interests.

While his relationship on the hit reality TV show appears doomed, he says he doesn't regret being part of the experiment.

"After the highs of such a long and successful football career, I felt something was lacking," he says. "I enjoyed stepping back into the spotlight."
