Man Always Suggesting 'Beer' With Mate, Without Ever Trying To Arrange It

Pete Tan suggested to his mate Anthony Manning that they "catch up for a beer soon."

That was 3 years ago.

"Pete's always busy when I suggest times," says Anthony. "He's never actually suggested a time, but he always, always talks about it."

Anthony estimates Pete has mentioned the illusive beer at least 15 times.

"Honestly I don't care if we never have that beer," says Anthony. "I just really wish Pete would stop talking about it so much."

The pair met at university 5 years ago and they later coincidentally worked together for 18 months. Now they bump into each other on the street from time to time.

Double Bay Today contacted Pete Tan for an interview.

"I'm definitely keen for that beer," says Pete. "Anthony knows I'm keen. We just have to find the right time."
