Local Girl Uses Snapchat Bunny Filter In Tinder Profile Pic

After getting little traction on her last Tinder profile photo, Double Bay's Irene Nabi has begun using the Snapchat bunny filter.

"I just wanted to mix things up a little," says the 29 year old. "You know, show off my quirky personality a little bit."

But critics say she's using the filter to make her appear more attractive to potential dates.

"We think she's beautiful inside and out," says her friend Abbie Baxter. "But let's be honest, the filter smoothes and brightens her skin, changes her face shape and hides her nose."

Irene Nabi - who is also a fan of the sunflower headband filter - rejects suggestions that using filters in Tinder profile photos is deceptive. And she won't say how long she plans to keep as her profile pic.

"We'll see how it goes. I can always go back to the pic of me wearing a sailors hat on a boat."
