Aussie Republicans Begin Count Down - Only Two Days Till Royal Wedding Is Over!

An excited group of Sydney Republicans are counting down until the Royal Wedding is over.

"Only two more days until this elitist, fairy-tale rubbish is over!" shouts Monica Summers. "We can't wait."

The group has begun planning how they'll spend Saturday and their subsequent celebrations.

"Saturday we're having full media blackout," says Monica. "We're doing an all-day hike in the Blue Mountains. Then on Sunday we're waking up early and getting straight on the disco biscuits."

The group are among millions of Australians who literally couldn't give a fuck about the Royal Wedding.

"We can't believe so much money is spent on this rubbish when millions around the world are suffering through no fault of their own," says Billy Windle. "We need to mature as a society."
