#Breaking: Millions of Aussies Pretend To Care About Politics

Facebook feeds around the nation have gone into overdrive this afternoon, as millions of random Australians share their views on politics.

"Australian politics, there ain't nothing like it!" wrote one Facebook user at the start of a long-winded status update/commentary on today's dramatic leadership vote.

But political experts say the leadership change from Malcolm Turnbull to Scott Morrison will not make any difference in anyone's life.

"As much as the media, and politicians themselves try to pretend it matters, the truth is, it really doesn't," says Simon Bond from the Australian Political Advisory Association.

"Let's be honest, it doesn't make any difference which muppet is running this country."

Simon Bond says the role of the Prime Minister has become very diluted in recent years.

"The PM has become nothing but a party spokesperson, with no real political power, especially with how easily they can be deposed nowadays in Australia."

And he predicts the same level of hype and speculation will occur when Scott Morrison is knifed in the back.

"This will happen soon." he predicts.
