Scandal and controversy has ripped through a small group of close friends in Brisbane's east.
Amber Ripoli woke up to the shock realisation that she wasn't invited to dinner with her closest friends.
She made the startling discovery after logging into Facebook this morning.
"There it was; a photo of my three closest girlfriends out for dinner on my newsfeed," she says. "It really hurt.”
It led to a meltdown and several hysterical phone calls about the issue with family and 2nd tier friends.
“After 4 hours of critical analysis and various role plays, I decided to like the photo,” says Amber Ripoli. “It was the most passive yet aggressive way to acknowledge not being invited.”
Double Bay Today contacted one of the women who was at the dinner.
“I didn’t post the photo myself,” says Jenny Halls. “But I thought we all agreed to block Amber from seeing the photo?!”
There’s now speculation the woman who posted the photo may have actually wanted Amber to see it.
This is a developing news story. We’ll bring you more updates as they come to hand.
