A Sydney married couple have found good reason to start spending quality time together again.

"We both love Married At First Sight," says Sam Meadows. "It really brings us together."

He and his wife of 5 years both acknowledge it's the only activity they really enjoy while in each other's company.

"Everything else is a compromise," says Justine Meadows. "But when MAFS is on we legitimately both want to be there. It makes our relationship feel new again."

The couple acknowledge the irony of gaining relationship satisfaction out of watching other people struggle.

"It's much better than the other dating shows where singles actually get to have fun," says Sam. "With MAFS the couples are always in for a really rough time and it makes our marriage seem so much more legit."

Married At First Sight continues on Channel 9 tonight at 7.30pm.
