The coalition is reportedly lost for ideas on where to celebrate their expected election victory.
Exit polls show Gladys Berejiklian is set to become the first female Premier to be re-elected in NSW.
"Where are we going to go?" the Premier was heard asking colleagues. "Let's go somewhere cool like Hugo's at Kings Cross."
Witnesses say party insiders tried to quietly inform Ms Berejikilian that Hugo's closed down months ago as Sydney's lock out laws took effect.
As counting continues in the tightly-contested state election, it's understood Liberal Party members are struggling to find other options.
"What about Cargo Bar?" suggested Gabrielle Upton, the Liberal member for Vaucluse, before also learning it has closed.
Double Bay Today understands the group is slowly accepting the fact that they'll be heading to Star City Casino when the result is announced.
